Take Me out to the Ball Game

So Ned and I recently were able to go to the Angels Game. And for some reason I was more happy than usual to be at the game and it just looked so beautiful that day. There is something just so refreshing and American about a baseball game.

One of my favorite movies is “A League of Their Own” because it just reminds me of the American Dream and one of the things life is all about…enjoying it.
So I thought I’d share a funny clip and some pictures from the game.

There's no crying in baseball...

One thing I DONT LIKE about baseball games...here is a 99cent ampm soda and next to it a $5 Angels soda...

My favorite player (Figgins) warming up...

...and in case you missed this (I think last year) we watch sports central every night so got to see this when it happened...CRAZY!

He's ONE and oh so FUN... ASHER

Asher Scott Broberg 8/28/08
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Bubba Boy...

Asher is SUCH a happy boy and baby. He really has been so good his whole life and such a joy to have around.

He is ALL BOY...despite the princess crown...he is wild, active, and into EVERYTHING! But even when he climbs the stairs when we leave the gate open he ALWAYS lets out a loud little laugh to let us know he is doing something he's not suppose to.

We feel SO BLESSED to have him as a part of our little family. He also absolutely ADORES Ella. She tackles him off the sofa so hard, strangles him, and he actually just laughs because he loves it so much and is so happy.

Family Picture

Thanks to my sister (April) we got a family picture before church yesterday...so here's out little family...

Family Feud...our defeat

So we went on Family Feud... back after I had Asher last year. And we lost. Miserably. Thank goodness for my brother in-law Wes and Ned who were constant entertainment. Ned danced with a bunch of 13 yr. old girls in a dance contest during a commercial break, and Wes...well I will just say "club sauce" laughs for the rest of our life and this pic. says the rest!

Yosemite Post #2

Just for some more pictures....just in case you didn't get enough in the first post...ha ha ha

We got attacked by BEARS, our kids got locked in the bear box, Ned got asked to pose for the cover of G.Q., Ella's practicing (like her dad) to get on Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Editon, Claire stayed really clean the whole week...and we jumped the bridge.
