Tate's Appointment (according to my iPhone)

Yes for those of you who are wondering, Ned and I got iPhones 4s (yep with Siri), after years of having our free phones with no data. We are now in heaven, it is wonderful and I just love having a camera at my finger tips, an iPod in the car, and the MANY other addicting features we are just loving.

But it is so nice not to have to carry around my nice Nikon D5000, as much as I love it, it isn't super realistic to carry that along with my diaper bag/purse, backpacks, jackets and 3 kids along with me everywhere I go...

So here is Tate's doctors appointment pictures according to my iPhone.
Tate getting his blood pressure checked
He did NOT like it, although I thought he looked dang cute doing it!
The older kids said they were SO sad for Tate and his tests, but really I think they were just bored out of their minds!  Even with the about 30 stickers they received from every nurse they passed.  I love Asher's Tinker Bell stickers all over him.

Prepping for his EKG
He actually enjoyed the EKG
YES, he is actually smiling here! Hilarious!
This broke my heart (despite Ned looking ridiculous in his apron) he had to hold Tate's arms over his head for about 5 minutes while he screamed uncontrollably for his X-ray. We were on the other side of the glass (as you can see from the glare).

So just ONE more test to go. The ultrasound.  But they have to put him under for this test so it will most likely be next month when we can schedule a time to be there ALL DAY for another fun test!

Just so grateful things are looking good and normal.  He is such a little sweet heart and a blessing in our family.  The human body is so amazing and intricate, and it is funny how sometimes it takes little experiences like this to help you realize and appreciate that!

  1. Oh my goodness, a tiny baby shouldn't have to get an x-ray!! How sad that must have been to watch.
I hope everything goes well for you guys and little Tate will be ok. We will keep you in our prayers.

  2. It is sad. But, I have to say, I did notice all the stickers on Asher's t-shirt and got a good laugh over it too.

  3. EKGs and chest x-rays - and even sedated echos - are all too familiar to us. Last week Enzo had his first chest X-ray without crying, and hes's been getting them for two and a half years. I hope the echo looks great and this is Tate's only chest X-ray you have to watch him scream through. I'll look forward to hearing how everything is at his next appointment.
